Along my stamping journey I turned once again to embossing. For quite awhile I kept turning back to the technqiue showcased in this card. Clear Embossing on Colored Cardstock found its way into many of my cards. I even did an entire swap for Stampin' Up! Convention using this technique. In this technique the embossed image "pops" off the project due to the texture of the embossing and the darker, complimentary color against the basic cardstock. In this card I added a Black Glimmer Brad to dress it up.
My final sample showcases the new Chalkboard embossing technique. Here you emboss an image in White Embossing Powder on Basic Black Cardstock. I added the left over eraser dust by rubbing my Embossing Buddy on the card after I finished embossing.
I hope you enjoyed my stroll down memory lane! You're off to Ingrid's Website now - enjoy!
