Happy New Year!  In just 20 days I will celebrate my 15th anniversary with Stampin’ Up!  My business took lots of twists and turns, but I am so excited with all the new things I have to share with you in 2015!  The first thing is tomorrow’s release of the Occasional Catalog and the start of Sale-a-Bration!  What a great day!

LOCAL LADIES:  Check out the new event schedule for January!  I have a FREE Class this week, but you need to RSVP very soon!  Click here to go to my events.

NEW STAMPING OPTIONS!  If you’re in the mood to shop then Monthly Stamp Club is for you!  With just a $25 purchase each month for five months you get access to a FREE class and $25 in FREE merchandise at the end of your six months.  For more details check out this page!

BIRTHDAY ONLINE CLASS!  This class will be available for purchase beginning January 15.  This is a great time of year to get all those birthday cards stamped so you have your “stash” for the year.  This class will include techniques, masculine cards and clean and simple cards.  You’re going to love it!

Now let’s take a closer look at today’s card.   I followed the Mojo Monday sketch as I often do to start the week off.  Unfortunately, I have been sending a fair share of sympathy cards and my “stash” is running low.  This card showcases the new Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper the will be available tomorrow along with all the other great items from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure.

When making a sympathy card you want to keep the color pallet quiet.  For this card the darker Night of Navy and complimenting Crumb Cake achieved this effect.  You could go with just about any color combinations as long as you stay on the more subtle side.

DividerHow did I make that beautiful bow?  I used the double-loop on my 10 Second Bow Maker.  I love this little tool for making all my bows come out perfect every time.  If you’ve stamped with me or followed my work over the years, you know I cannot make a good bow to save my life.  This little tool has made it possible for me to include beautiful bows on my projects!  For more information just click here.
