color me autum, for all kind, fall diy card

This card was easy to make by following the Mojo Monday sketch.  I really like following sketches to get my creative mojo going.  What do you use to get yours started?  Are you one of those lucky people who it just hits?  I knew that I wanted to make a fall card and then when I saw this sketch it just all fell together.  I love this pattern in the Color Me Autumn designer series paper.  I chose it for the colored shade in the sketch.  And then pulled other colored embellishments and card stock from the colors in the paper.  I love how Stampin’ Up! products are coordinated so you can do this on any project.

The bow on the card was easy to tie with the new Olive and Natural two tone trim.  I clipped a second piece and pulled out the olive threads.  Then I fed them through the Gold Basic Metal button and attached it to the bow with Mini Glue Dots.

Do you see the light shading behind the greeting?  I took the watercolor swish stamp and inked it with Crumb Cake ink.  Then I stamped it off twice to make sure the final image was very light.  This made the greeting in Mossy Meadow pop more.
